I love the look of these however they are impossible to use. you have to remove the battery every time or the remote somehow drains it. imagine sticking your hand in a prickly tree to unscrew the candles - and then the battery plops out the bottom into the tree base if you're not careful. the instructions mention an 'off' switch, but there is none. these are a fabulous idea and initially look wonderful, however, after one evenings use of say 4 hours, one or more of them will be drained and need a new battery. such a shame. The company refunded in full with no question, so they get 5 stars
